Our History and Founding
Kevin Crooks founded the firm in 1992. What began as one attorney’s commitment to injured people in Louisville has grown into a respected practice with more than three decades of experience. For many of those years, the firm operated under the name Kevin Crooks, PLLC.
Dustin and Matt began working with Kevin while in law school in 2008, and upon finishing law school and passing the bar became full-time employees and eventually partners. Over time, the practice expanded and evolved into Crooks, Bell & Dodds, PLLC, reflecting the partners who now lead it. The Lawville brand carries that history forward while keeping the local, community-first spirit that shaped the firm from day one.
